Job Summary
We are currently hiring a Food Service Worker to join our Chinese restaurant team as a front server. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, serving food efficiently, handling POS transactions, and keeping the service area clean and organized. Responsibilities
- Greet and serve customers promptly and courteously.
- Deliver food orders accurately and efficiently.
- Handle cash, debit, and credit transactions using POS systems.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining and service areas.
- Refill drinks and attend to customer needs during service.
- Ensure food items are presented neatly and correctly.
- Follow restaurant hygiene and safety standards at all times.
- Work collaboratively with team members to support smooth daily operations.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or customer service role is an asset.
- Familiarity with using a POS system is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and multitask in a busy environment.
- Must be available to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Friendly, reliable, and professional attitude.
