Job Description:
J&L Cold Storage is currently seeking a reliable and safety-focused Forklift Operator to join our team in Chepstow. This role is essential to our daily operations, ensuring the efficient loading and unloading of trucks in a fast-paced cold storage environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Safley operate a forklift to load and offload trucks
- Move, stack and organize products within the facility
- Inspect incoming and outgoing products for accuracy and damage
- Follow all workplace safety procedures and company policies
Requirements:
- Previous forklift experience (and willingness to obtain forklift certificate)
- Ability to work in cold temperatures
- Strong attention to details
- Physically capable of lifting product when required and able to pull large plastic dividers
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team
