Job Overview
We are seeking a versatile and reliable General Labourer / Handyman / Maintenance professional to join our team. This role involves performing a variety of maintenance, repair, and general labour tasks across our facilities. The successful candidate will be proactive, skilled in multiple trades, and capable of working independently or supervising others as required.
Duties
- Assist with mechanical repairs, including replacing parts, lubricating machinery, and ensuring optimal functionality.
- Supervise junior staff or contractors during maintenance projects, ensuring safety standards are maintained.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with internal teams or external clients regarding maintenance requests or issues.
- Lead small projects or tasks, demonstrating leadership qualities and organisational skills.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in maintenance, mechanical work, electrical systems, or related fields.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform repairs independently.
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
