CABINET MAKER
FULL-TIME POSITION

Reporting to the Specials Department Supervisor:
Position Summary
The Cabinet Maker is responsible for building custom cabinetry, specialty products, and components according to customer specifications while meeting established quality, productivity, and scheduling standards. This position requires the use of cabinet shop tools and equipment, the ability to accurately interpret technical drawings, and a strong commitment to quality workmanship.
Key Responsibilities
- Build custom cabinetry, specialty products, and components according to specifications and customer requirements.
- Read and accurately interpret CAD drawings and production documents.
- Utilize precision tools and equipment to manufacture completed cabinets and components.
- Perform final quality inspections to ensure products are free from defects prior to release.
- Repair or rework components when required to meet quality standards.
- Handle materials and finished products carefully to prevent damage, scratches, dents, or finish defects.
- Follow all company safety procedures and safe operating practices.
- Assist with overtime requirements during peak production periods as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in Cabinetmaking, Woodworking, Manufacturing, or a related field and/or 3–5 years of experience in a cabinetry manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and accurately interpret CAD drawings and shop drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
- Experience operating cabinet shop tools and equipment safely and effectively.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Hours of Work
- Monday to Friday
- 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Overtime may be required during peak production periods and seasonal production demands.
Compensation
- $24.00 – $28.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
