Job Overview
We are looking for a staff member to cover Sunday-Wednesday shifts at our takeout fried chicken shop. Most of these days are relatively quiet/slow for business, so we are hiring someone with a strong mind for performing cleaning, upkeep, and maintenance duties as they prepare orders. This is a kitchen entirely run by only 1 person at a time. Near native English fluency is mandatory.
Duties
- Take customers' orders
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipe
- Handle food safely and maintain proper hygiene practices in accordance with food safety regulations
- Perform cleaning, sanitation, and organization of workstations
- Maintain superb inventory management, including stocking supplies and rotating stock
- Ensure all food is stored properly and waste is minimized
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment
Qualifications
- Long-term commitment; if you are not willing to stick to this job for years and decades, this is the wrong fit
- Strong ability to perform cleaning tasks
- Willingness to stick to the consistent, permanently assigned shift schedule and cover other team members' sick days
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service setting is preferred, but not required
- Able to safely carry loads of 20 kg
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to obtain food handling certification upon hire
- Multi-lingual fluency is always a benefit. Please mention any language competencies in your resume.

Minimum wage with frequent performance based raises
