Toronto Inspection Ltd. is a medium-sized geo-environmental consulting firm specialized in geotechnical, environmental, hydrogeological and building science services. We are a member of the Association of Professional Engineers Ontario, the Association of Professional Geoscientists Ontario and the Ontario Institute of Professional Agrologists.
We are currently looking for a construction / geotechnical field technician to join our dynamic construction / geotechnical team. Strong preference will be given to candidates who has relevant previous experiences background. Please see below for detailed job descriptions.
Responsibilities:
- Attend construction sites on a daily basis.
- Perform a variety of fieldwork including but not limited to: slump tests, soil and asphalt compaction, rebar inspection and footing inspections.
- Help to maintain a safe work environment.
We would like to hear from you if:
- You have minimum one (1) year of previous consulting experience. Preference will be give to candidates with more than two (2) years of experience.
- Knowledge of provincial and/or municipal construction regulations.
- You are punctual, dependable and able to work with others.
- You are willing to work outdoors under inclement weather conditions and can lift up to 40lb of equipment.
- You have your own vehicle and are comfortable navigating the GTA and surrounding areas.
