Construction Safety Coordinator
We are seeking an experienced Construction Safety Coordinator for a project located in Kimberly, British Columbia.
Shift:
10 days on 4 days off rotation
10-hour minimum workdays (2-hour OT daily)
Wages:
- Wages vary from $24.77 - $33.84/hr full time, plus Vacation and Statutory holiday pay.
Roles and responsibilities:
- Administer site specific orientations
- Responsible for paper and electronic filing for safety documentation
- Conduct and participate in site inspections
- Assist in general labour tasks or other as assigned
- Various administrative tasks as needed
- Knowledgeable of jurisdictional and company safety standards and policies
- Completing task hazard assessments and maintaining a safe work environment
- Understanding and the ability to follow safe work procedures and work within a crew accordingly
- CSO ticket is considered an asset
- Intermediate or Advanced First Aid ticket is considered an asset
- TCP ticket is considered an asset
- Class 5 drivers license is considered an asset
