We are currently seeking an experienced Paralegal to join our Litigation law group at our Downtown office. This is a full-time, in-office, permanent position.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Organizing and managing client files
- Receiving, reviewing, analyzing, and organizing documents
- Creating lists of documents
- Drafting pleadings, applications, affidavits, and other court documents
- Communicating with clients and opposing counsel
- Conducting court searches
- Conducting research on case law, records, court files, and other legal documents
- Providing assistance on other files as needed
The Ideal Candidate has:
- A positive and enthusiastic attitude
- Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills and is highly organized
- An ability to effectively prioritize and execute in a high volume and fast-paced environment
- Works well both independently and as part of a team
Required and Preferred Qualifications:
- A paralegal certificate and/or diploma from an accredited institution
- Minimum 4 years’ experience within a law firm
- Minimum 2 years’ experience within litigation
- Proficiency with MS Office applications
- Experience with iManage is preferred
- Experience with Elite Workspace is preferred
Salary:
The salary range for this position is $80,000 to $85,000. annually
