Part-Time Sales & Customer Service Associate – Mobile TechnologyOverview
Wireless Warehouse is looking for a friendly, reliable, and motivated Part-Time Sales & Customer Service Associate to join our team.
In this role, you will assist customers with mobile phones, tablets, accessories, repairs, and other technology products. You will help customers choose the right products, demonstrate features, answer questions, process transactions, and provide excellent after-sales support.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, has an interest in mobile technology, and is comfortable in a fast-paced retail environment. Mobile phone repair experience is an asset but is not required, as training can be provided to the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and identify their mobile technology needs
- Provide friendly and professional customer service in person and over the phone
- Assist customers with mobile phones, tablets, accessories, repairs, and other products
- Demonstrate products and explain their features and benefits clearly
- Recommend and upsell suitable accessories, services, and related products
- Process cash, debit, and credit card transactions accurately using the POS system
- Assist with basic troubleshooting and minor mobile phone repairs
- Receive, organize, stock, and merchandise products
- Maintain attractive and organized product displays
- Keep the store clean, organized, and properly stocked
- Manage customer interactions efficiently while maintaining store flow
- Complete other store-related duties as required
Qualifications
- Previous retail sales or customer service experience is preferred
- Experience with mobile phones, electronics, or technology products is an asset
- Mobile phone repair experience is a strong asset but is not required
- Friendly, dependable, and comfortable speaking with customers
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable recommending products and identifying sales opportunities
- Ability to explain technical information in a simple and understandable way
- Basic math and cash-handling skills
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to learn about new mobile devices, accessories, and repair services
- Strong English communication skills; additional languages are an asset
- Availability to work evenings and weekends as required
