What's the role
We are seeking an experienced Automotive Shop Foreman to join the #1 Volume Mazda Dealership. The ideal candidate must have at least 2+ years of experience as an Automotive Technician.
Requirements:
- Automotive technician certification
- Journeyman license
- Valid G license
- Clean driving record
- Able to work Weekdays & Saturdays
- Must be a team player & detail-oriented
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair vehicles as required
- Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
- Test and inspect parts for wear and tear
- Maintain accurate records of service and repairs
- Keep up with the latest automotive technology and advancements - hybrid models
- Perform Safety Inspections on vehicles as per MTO regulations
- Remain updated with current training courses through Mazda Canada (in-class and online)
- Comply with required health and safety regulations
- Document work performed on work orders
- Wheel alignments and bleed the hydraulic brake system
- Road-test vehicles to quality-check work performed or refer to Service Manager
- Responsible for practical instruction and support for any assigned Apprentice Mechanics / Technician
