We are hiring an experienced Kitchen Manager / Head Chef to lead a high-volume, full-service kitchen, build strong teams, and deliver consistent, high-quality food execution.

Role Overview
This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for kitchen operations, team performance, and food quality in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
You will lead from the front—driving standards, developing people, and ensuring every dish meets our expectations.
Key ResponsibilitiesKitchen Leadership & Team Development
- Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing kitchen team
- Lead by example during service—calm, focused, and accountable
- Build a culture of teamwork, discipline, and pride in execution
- Manage scheduling, performance reviews, and ongoing coaching
Food Quality & Execution
- Ensure all menu items are executed to recipe, quality, and presentation standards
- Maintain consistency in portioning, taste, and timing
- Oversee prep, line execution, and service flow in a high-volume kitchen
Operations & Cost Control
- Manage food cost, inventory, ordering, and waste control
- Schedule labour to meet sales and labour targets
- Complete reports, schedules, and administrative tasks accurately and on time
Standards & Compliance
- Enforce food safety, sanitation, and temperature controls
- Maintain a clean, organized, inspection-ready kitchen
- Ensure all equipment is maintained and operating properly

Requirements
- 2+ years experience as a Head Chef, Kitchen Manager, or Sous Chef in a full-service, high-volume restaurant
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing, coaching, and developing teams
- Proven ability to manage food cost, labour, and kitchen operations
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Strong organization, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Proficient with basic computer systems (scheduling, inventory, reporting)
- Food Handler Certification (required)
- Flexible availability (days, evenings, weekends, holidays)
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
