Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Grinder to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for precision grinding and finishing of metal components to meet strict quality standards. This role requires mechanical aptitude, familiarity with various machining tools, and a strong commitment to safety and quality. Duties
- Operate grinding equipment, including CNC grinding machines, to shape and finish metal parts with high accuracy
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to ensure proper dimensions and tolerances
- Use hand tools, calipers, and other measuring instruments for quality inspection and verification of finished products
- Set up and calibrate CNC laser cutting, plasma cutting, CNC milling machines, CNC lathe, press brake machines, and other machinery as needed
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal operation
- Assist with assembly processes when required, ensuring parts are correctly fitted and assembled according to specifications
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and procedures
- Collaborate with team members on machining projects to meet production deadlines
