What We're Looking For
We are seeking a positive, compassionate, and motivated Registered Physiotherapist who is passionate about helping patients achieve their goals. This position is ideal for someone who values individualized treatment and is looking to grow within a collaborative, multidisciplinary clinic.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive one-on-one physiotherapy assessments and treatments.
- Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans.
- Utilize BioFlex Laser Therapy as part of patient care (training provided).
- Manage a diverse musculoskeletal caseload.
- Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team, including TMJ physiotherapy, pelvic health physiotherapy, osteopathy, massage therapy, and speech-language pathology.
- Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Educate patients on their condition, treatment plan, and home exercise program.
- Deliver exceptional patient care while building long-term therapeutic relationships.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Registered Physiotherapist in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience preferred.
- Experience assessing and treating TMJ (temporomandibular joint) disorders is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of TMJ biomechanics, myofascial pain, jaw dysfunction, cervical spine assessment, and manual therapy techniques for TMJ conditions.
- Experience treating patients with headaches, facial pain, bruxism, and orofacial pain is considered a strong asset.
- Experience and certification in Vestibular and Concussion Physiotherapy are strongly preferred.
- Additional training or experience in pelvic health physiotherapy, chronic pain management, dry needling, acupuncture, or advanced manual therapy is considered an asset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong patient-centered approach.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
