We are seeking a dedicated Dishwasher/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment while assisting with food preparation and meal service. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food industry standards, food safety, and providing excellent service in a fast-paced restaurant setting. Responsibilities
- Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment to ensure cleanliness and compliance with health standards
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning meals
- Support cooking activities by preparing ingredients and following recipes under supervision
- Maintain a clean and organized work station throughout shifts
- Follow food safety protocols to prevent contamination and ensure proper handling of all food items
- Assist with restocking supplies and maintaining inventory levels in the kitchen
- Support the kitchen team during busy service times to ensure smooth operation and timely meal delivery
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environment preferred but not required
- Knowledge of food handling safety standards and proper sanitation procedures
- Ability to perform basic food preparation and meal assembly tasks
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Good communication skills and ability to work well as part of a team
- Willingness to learn new skills related to cooking, food safety, and restaurant operations
- Prior experience with serving or food industry roles is a plus but not mandatory
