Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of various massage techniques and therapies, including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy, to provide exceptional care and pain management for our clients. This role requires excellent patient service skills and the ability to assess individual needs to create tailored treatment plans that promote relaxation, recovery, and overall wellness.
Duties
- Perform a variety of massage techniques including deep tissue, trigger point therapy, cupping, fascial stretch, acupuncture, and pain management strategies.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans based on individual needs.
- Provide exceptional customer service by ensuring a welcoming environment for clients before, during, and after treatments.
- Maintain accurate records of client sessions, treatments provided, and any relevant medical history or changes in condition.
- Stay informed about anatomy knowledge, physiology, and medical terminology to enhance treatment effectiveness.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed to support clients' occupational health and wellness goals.
- Uphold cleanliness and hygiene standards in treatment areas to ensure a safe environment for clients.
Requirements
- Valid license as a Registered Massage Therapist.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology related to massage therapy.
- Experience in medical and rehabilitation settings is preferred.
- Excellent patient service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Familiarity with pain management techniques and occupational health practices.
- Ability to perform various massage modalities tailored to client needs.
