Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Assistant to join our team in Picton, ON. This full-time, permanent position offers an excellent opportunity to support daily administrative operations within a professional environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong office skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience with various clerical tasks to ensure smooth office functioning.
Responsibilities
- Manage front desk duties, including greeting visitors and handling multi-line phone systems with professionalism and courtesy
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records
- Assist with filing, document proofreading, and organizing office files to ensure easy retrieval and compliance
- Provide customer support by addressing inquiries and supporting client needs effectively
- Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and coordinating meetings
Requirements
- Strong computer skills including data entry, typing, and proficiency in clerical functions
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy in proofreading
- Prior experience in customer service, front desk operations, or administrative roles preferred
- Knowledge of multi-line phone systems and phone etiquette essential
- Experience in a legal office environment is a plus but not required, we are willing to train if you are willing to learn
- Ability to handle filing systems efficiently
- Strong organizational skills combined with excellent communication abilities to support team operations effectively

Pay: $24.00-$30.00 per hour
