Ready to suit up as a Camp Security Guard

GardaWorld is seeking professional and reliable Camp Security Guard? for a temporary Fly-in/Fly-out assignment in Nunavut supporting a major marine shipping operation. This role is responsible for maintaining security at a remote dockyard by controlling access, conducting patrols, and protecting the site from unauthorized access, and other security risks.

Responsibilities for Camp Security Guard

Control access to the marine dockyard and verify all authorized personnel entering and exiting the site.
Maintain a highly visible security presence throughout the assigned shift.
Conduct regular vehicle patrols and security sweeps of the dockyard.
Monitor for suspicious activity, unauthorized access, theft, vandalism, and other security risks.
Respond appropriately to security incidents while following GardaWorld and client procedures.
Complete accurate daily activity logs and incident reports.
Communicate effectively with site supervisors, operations personnel, and emergency responders when required.
Maintain professionalism while working in a remote industrial environment.

Qualifications for Camp Security Guard

Valid Alberta Security Licence.
Legally authorized to work in Canada.
Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence with a clean driving abstract.
Previous industrial, camp, marine, or remote site security experience is considered an asset.
Hands-On (Use of Force) certification is an asset.
Standard First Aid & CPR certification is an asset.
Strong observation, communication, and report-writing skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Comfortable working 12-hour shifts in a remote northern environment.
Physically fit and able to perform regular patrols in varying weather conditions.
