We are seeking a detail-oriented, energetic, and team-focused Orthodontic Assistant Support member to join our growing clinical team. In this vital role, you will ensure our clinic runs smoothly by managing instrument sterilization, keeping clinical areas pristine, and providing direct support to our orthodontic assistants and doctors. Key Responsibilities
- Clinical Support: Seat patients efficiently to maintain optimal daily workflow.
- Documentation: Take accurate, real-time clinical notes for your assigned orthodontic assistant.
- Sterilization (IPAC): Sterilize instruments according to strict provincial Dental Society regulations.
- Clinic Cleanliness: Clean, disinfect, and restock clinical chairs and supply stations between appointments.
- Team Communication: Collaborate clearly and promptly with all clinical and administrative staff.
- Administrative Tasks: Assist with basic computer entry, filing, and tracking clinical inventory.
Qualifications and Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a dental or medical setting is strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of infection prevention and control (IPAC) protocols.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fast, accurate typing skills for electronic chart note-taking.
- Ability to multitask calmly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
