Your Responsibilities
- Accurately prepare, verify, and dispense prescriptions following provincial and federal regulations
- Offer thorough patient counseling on specialty medications, including proper usage, potential side effects, and adherence strategies
- Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers to improve patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and relevant documentation
- Support inventory management, medication ordering, and daily pharmacy operations
- Provide outstanding customer service with a patient-focused approach
- Ensure compliance with all pharmacy laws, policies, and procedures
What You'll Bring
- Current registration (or eligibility) as a Pharmacist with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia
- Previous experience in specialty pharmacy or specialty drug therapies is highly desired
- Strong clinical knowledge and meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication abilities
- Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively
- Injection certification is a plus
