As an Inventory Analyst, you will be responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting the day-to-day execution of inventory processes across our warehouse operations. This role focuses on inventory analysis, reporting, system maintenance, and investigating discrepancies to ensure inventory integrity and optimal service levels. You will work closely with Operations Management to support reporting, inventory control, and continuous process improvement.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain inventory accuracy across SXe and TWL systems.
- Develop a strong understanding of SXe and TWL, including how the two systems interact to ensure daily inventory transactions are accurate and synchronized.
- Support inventory activities across warehouses 200, 201, and 10.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, working with warehouse and operations teams to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Support receiving activities by verifying inventory transactions and ensuring accurate system updates.
- Execute accurate daily, weekly, and monthly inventory and operational reports.
- Reconcile report data to ensure accuracy and data integrity.
- Audit processing errors and investigate data inconsistencies before reports are distributed.
- Run SXe reports as requested by the Operations Manager.
- Create and maintain Excel reports, dashboards, and analysis to support operational decision-making.
- Execute on-demand reporting requests by adjusting parameters, validating data, and publishing accurate results.
- Assist with ad hoc reporting and data analysis using SQL, Excel, and other reporting tools.
- Maintain report distribution lists, shared folders, and reporting resources.
- Perform occasional audits of outbound (OB) picked pallets to verify inventory and order accuracy.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to improve inventory accuracy and reporting processes.
Qualifications
- Experience in inventory control, inventory analysis, warehouse operations, distribution, or a related field.
- Experience working with ERP or warehouse management systems; experience with SXe and TWL is considered a strong asset.
- Strong understanding of inventory control processes, receiving, and inventory reconciliation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis. Experience with macros is an asset.
- Experience with Microsoft Access and SQL or the ability to learn reporting tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to investigate discrepancies, troubleshoot issues, and recommend solutions.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with warehouse and operations teams.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Compensation Details $27.26 - $34.08 Per Hour
This amount is what we reasonably believe we will pay for the position; however, offer amounts may vary based on factors such as geographic location, relevant education, experience, qualifications, skills, shift, or any collective bargaining agreements.
For eligible positions, compensation may include participation in a bonus or sales incentive plan, subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plan documents. For certain sales roles, Wesco also offers a commission structure that provides additional compensation based on sales results, as defined by the applicable commission plan.
