Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of menu items following established recipes and standards
- Serve customers efficiently and courteously, ensuring a positive dining experience
- Handle food safely by adhering to proper food handling and sanitation procedures
- Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, assembling, and plating dishes
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, workstations, and dining areas
- Follow all food safety regulations and health codes to ensure a safe environment for staff and guests
- Support team members during busy periods by assisting with food service and preparation tasks
- Ensure proper storage of ingredients and leftovers in accordance with safety guidelines
Experience
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environment is required; MUST HAVE MINIMUM 3 YEARS IN HIGH VOLUME KITCHENS
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety practices is advantageous
- Familiarity with the food industry standards for cleanliness, hygiene, and safety is desirable
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting
- Passion for delivering excellent customer service and creating enjoyable dining experiences
