ACCU-STAFF is currently seeking reliable and experienced Machine Operators for an established aluminum extrusion manufacturing facility located in Lakeshore, Ontario.
In this position, you will play an important role in daily production by operating machinery, monitoring equipment performance, completing quality inspections, and making basic machine adjustments. This opportunity is best suited for individuals who are mechanically inclined, comfortable in an industrial setting, and committed to maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and productivity.
We're looking for candidates who bring strong attendance, hands-on manufacturing experience, mechanical ability, and a dependable work ethic.
Shift Schedule
This position follows a 12-hour continental rotating schedule:
- Two weeks on day shift, followed by two weeks on night shift
- Day Shift: 6:30 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.
- Night Shift: 6:30 p.m. – 6:30 a.m.
- Every other weekend off
- Full-time hours
- Candidates must have full availability for both day and night rotations

Your Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and monitor aluminum extrusion and other production machinery
- Monitor machine performance throughout the shift to maintain safe and efficient production
- Make basic machine adjustments when required
- Perform routine quality inspections during the manufacturing process
- Inspect finished products for defects, damage, inconsistencies, and other quality concerns
- Use measuring tools to verify product dimensions and specifications
- Read and follow work orders, production instructions, and technical documentation
- Complete production, inspection, and quality control documentation accurately
- Identify and troubleshoot basic machinery and production issues
- Report equipment malfunctions, product concerns, and potential safety hazards
- Assist with material handling and additional production duties as required
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation
- Follow all workplace health and safety requirements and properly use required PPE
- Work collaboratively with production team members to achieve daily quality, safety, and productivity targets
What We're Looking For
- Previous Machine Operator experience in a manufacturing, automotive, industrial, or production environment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on manufacturing skills
- Experience operating and monitoring industrial production equipment
- Ability to perform basic troubleshooting and identify production concerns
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality
- Ability to read and follow work orders, technical instructions, and established procedures
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial environment
- Physically capable of standing and performing repetitive duties throughout a 12-hour shift
- Ability to lift, move, and handle production materials as required
- Excellent attendance, punctuality, and reliability
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn new machinery and processes
- Strong understanding of workplace health and safety expectations
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a production team
- Must be available for 12-hour rotating day and night shifts
- Reliable transportation is required, as the Lakeshore facility is not accessible by public transit
- Forklift experience is considered an asset
- Experience reading blueprints, technical drawings, or production specifications is considered an asset
