About the Role
We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Dental Model Room/retainer assistant to join our dental laboratory team. This position is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in model preparation and a strong understanding of dental lab workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mix and pour dental models with precision and consistency.
- Trim and finish dental models to meet quality standards.
- Mount and articulate models according to case specifications and dental anatomy.
- Fabricate retainers and other dental products.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to support efficient production.
- Collaborate with other lab staff and departments to ensure timely case completion.
Qualifications:
- High detail oriented person able to work within tight time lines
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
- Collaborate to ensure the accuracy of prescriptions and specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment, adhering to safety protocols.
- Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet established standards.
- Learn and Utilize CAD/cam software and machines to design and create precise dental appliances.
- Familiarity with dental terminology, lab equipment, and previous experience is an asset but not mandatory.

Pay: $15.50-$16.35 per hour
