Job Overview
We are seeking a professional and well organized Dental Receptionist to join our long-standing denture clinic practice. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing front desk operations. This role requires excellent communication skills, familiarity with dental and medical office procedures, and proficiency with electronic health records systems. The Dental Receptionist plays a vital role in ensuring smooth daily operations and a positive patient experience.
Duties
- Greet patients warmly and check them in upon arrival
- Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments using DomX or similar software
- Manage multi-line phone systems to handle inquiries, appointment bookings, and patient follow-ups
- Verify patient insurance information and update electronic dental records accurately
- Collect payments and process billing transactions efficiently
- Maintain organized patient records in compliance with privacy regulations
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and correspondence
- Prepare treatment room paperwork and ensure the front desk area is tidy and welcoming
- Collaborate with dental staff to facilitate smooth workflow and patient care
Skills
- Prior experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a dental/medical office environment is highly preferred
- Proficiency with dental software such as DomX and Dentrix is advantageous
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology and electronic medical records management
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to handle multi-line phone systems efficiently and professionally
- Familiarity with office equipment and administrative procedures in a healthcare setting
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a friendly demeanor

Pay: $19.00-$35.00 per hour
