Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at the Lonsdale Treatment Centre. Duties
- Deliver comprehensive care to clients adhering to established protocols and medical standards.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately while monitoring patient responses to ensure safety and effectiveness.
- Utilize electronic health record systems to document clients' information, treatment plans, and progress efficiently.
- Conduct patient assessments, including vital signs, medical history reviews, and physical examinations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop personalized care plans that address individual needs, including pain management and dementia care.
- Perform phlebotomy procedures for blood draws and laboratory specimen collection with precision and professionalism.
- Assist with case management activities to coordinate ongoing patient care, discharge planning, and follow-up services.
- Provide specialized care for mental health patients, especially indigenous youth.
- Support laboratory procedures and medical office tasks as needed to ensure seamless healthcare delivery.
- Educate patients and families on medication administration, medical terminology, health maintenance strategies, and post-discharge care instructions.
Qualifications
- Valid nursing license (RN) in Ontario with current registration.
- Demonstrated proficiency in medication administration, medical terminology, phlebotomy, and laboratory procedures.
- Experience managing youth patient populations and those requiring addiction and mental health management and complex case coordination.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to adapt quickly in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail and compassionate patient interactions.

Pay: $60.02-$76.86 per hour
Work Location: In person
