Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Mechanic / Automotive Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair, maintenance, and diagnostics, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This role involves performing a variety of repair and service tasks to ensure vehicles are safe, reliable, and operating at peak performance. Experience with dealership procedures, welding, and schematic reading is highly valued. Your Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues
- Perform routine maintenance and servicing
- Replace brakes, suspension, steering and cooling system components
- Complete engine diagnostics and drivability repairs
- Perform complete engine and transmission replacements
- Conduct vehicle safety inspections
- Recondition vehicles for retail sale
- Maintain a clean, safe and organized work area
Qualifications
- Minimum 3–4 years of automotive repair experience
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Experience performing complete engine and transmission replacements
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Must own your own tools (toolbox and essential hand tools required)
- Valid Ontario Driver's Licence
- Reliable, punctual and professional
310S Automotive Service Technician Licence is an asset but not required.
Pay: $25.00-$38.00 per hour
