We are seeking an experienced Brake Press Operator with hands-on experience using Delem CNC controls. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating CNC press brakes to bend and form metal parts according to engineering drawings while maintaining high quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC brake press machines with Delem control systems.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work orders.
- Program and adjust machine settings to meet production requirements.
- Select the correct tooling and perform machine setups.
- Inspect finished parts using measuring tools to ensure they meet specifications.
- Perform first-off inspections and in-process quality checks.
- Troubleshoot machine or programming issues and make necessary adjustments.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and report equipment issues.
- Work efficiently to meet production schedules and quality standards.
Requirements
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience operating CNC brake press machines.
- Strong experience with Delem CNC controls is required.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication and bending processes.
- Experience using measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and angle gauges.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Amada, Bystronic, Accurpress, or similar CNC press brake machines.
- Forklift or overhead crane experience is an asset.
- Knowledge of workplace safety regulations.
Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
