The Opening(s)
- Sprinkler Fitter Foremen – Ticketed installers with experience on commercial and multi-unit residential projects who would like to lead their own crew and job-sites! Would you like to take on a leadership role in the industry? If so, this is the role for you!
The Basic Responsibilities
- Mentor and train apprentices / entry-level fitters to enhance their learning and understanding.
- Provide clear direction and instructions for members of your crew.
- Safely operate power tools, pipe threaders, pipe cutters, groovers and core drills.
- Effectively analyze and interpret sprinkler system blueprints.
- Oversee the safety and productivity of your crew.
- Problem-solve and maintain all applicable documentation for work being completed.
- Independent installation of BlazeMaster and steel pipe (and sprinkler heads).
- Communicate with the office as needed for documentation, coaching, feedback, etc.
- Ensure the adherence of all site-safety polices as well as EFP policies when working.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must have in-depth knowledge of NFPA 13, 13R, 13D, 14 & 10.
- Red-Seal Certification as a Sprinkler Fitter
- Obtained the BlazeMaster Certification
- Comfortable reading blueprints and schematics
- Valid BC Driver’s License with a clear Driver’s Abstract
- Superior organizational skills.
- Must be able to follow work instructions with attention to detail.
- Ability to use hand tools and have good eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity.
- Has the ability to use hand and power tools in a proper and safe manner.
- Has good reading comprehension, listening and speaking skills.
