A&W Restaurant Manager

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, our Restaurant Manager is responsible for ensuring the restaurant runs efficiently, profitably, and delivers excellent customer service while maintaining brand standards.
Responsibilities:
- Ability to manage and lead a large, diverse, and guest focused team in a high-volume restaurant.
- Manage the staff to help maintain and achieve restaurant targets and standards
- Evaluate, plan and organize daily operations
- Recruit Staff and set staff work schedules
- Train, Supervise, and coach staff to provide excellent customer service
- Monitor staff performance and conduct performance reviews
- Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports and all related forms
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Manage inventory control, ordering, cost control and weekly inventory counts.
- Ensure Health and Safety regulations are followed
- Ensure all food safety practices are followed to A&W standards.
- Address of customer’s complaints and concerns
- Valid driver’s license and regular access to a vehicle
- Ensures staff safety and a healthy motivating work environment by applying Daily Climate
- Ensure all restaurant equipment is in good working order and are properly maintained
- Maintain daily, weekly and monthly cleaning schedules
Requirements:
- Safe food handling certification
- Class 5 Alberta driver’s license
- Restaurant Management Experience – 1 year or more
- Strong interpersonal skills and proven leadership with supervisory experience
- Expertise in all restaurant positions
- This position requires individual to stand for extended periods of time
- Occasionally heavy lifting up to 50lbs
- Engaging in repetitive tasks
- Maintain good personal hygiene and appropriate uniform
- Ability to handle stressful situations
