TST Expedited Services is looking for experienced Owner Operators in the Windsor/Essex County area to join our open-board fleet.
If you own a reliable tractor with sleeper, have your FAST Card, and are looking for cross-border freight opportunities with an established carrier, we’d like to hear from you.
COMPENSATION
- $1.80 CAD per loaded mile + Fuel Surcharge
- $1.50 CAD per empty mile
- Fuel surcharge paid on loaded miles
- Approximately 1,600–2,000 total miles per week (mileage varies based on freight availability)
EQUIPMENT & DRIVER REQUIREMENTS
- 2016–2023 tractor
- Sleeper required
- FAST Card REQUIRED
- Valid AZ license
- Reliable, well-maintained equipment
- Strong safety record and professional attitude
OPEN-BOARD FREIGHT
Cross-border freight primarily throughout:
- Ontario
- Michigan & U.S. Midwest
- Pennsylvania
- New York
- Additional areas as freight requires
This is an open-board position — not a dedicated or local route.
TST SUPPORT
- Truck plates provided
- Tolls paid by TST (excluding Highway 407 ETR)
- Esso, Comdata & SuperPass fuel cards
- Ambassador Bridge RFID
- DTOPS customs transponder program
- Qualcomm satellite system
- NAL Fleet Program
OWNER OPERATOR COSTS
- Insurance: 2% of gross revenue – $40/week minimum
- Escrow: 5% until $4,000 CAD
- Qualcomm: $35/week
- NAL Fleet Program: $125.68/month
- DTOPS transponder cost deducted over four settlements
