Job Overview:
We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented Cashier/Clerk to join our team. As a Cashier/Clerk, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, processing transactions accurately, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. This is a Full Time position - 5 x shifts per week *store is closed every Sunday.
MUST HOLD VALID WORK AUTHORIZATION AT TIME OF APPLICATION
Duties:
- Greet customers with a warm and friendly demeanor
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently
- Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions
- Maintain an organized cash register area
- Assist customers in locating products and answering their inquiries
- Upsell products and promote special offers to maximize sales
- Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits
- Ensure shelves are stocked and products are neatly displayed
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate replenishment needs to management
- Follow all company policies and procedures regarding cash handling, returns, and exchanges
Skills:
- Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in English
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage with customers in a professional manner
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of technology products is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work well within a team
