Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Order Picker to join our dynamic distribution team. This role is essential for ensuring accurate and efficient order fulfillment within a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with warehouse operations, and inventory management systems.
Under the direction of the Branch Manager/Assistant Branch Manager -
Duties include but not limited to:
- Assemble from stock all items on the packing slip in correct quantity and record on the packing slip.
- Package for shipping to ensure all items arrive at customer without damage.
- Assist in shipping when required.
- Attend all training sessions including hose assembly, delivery of orders and receiving of goods.
- Assist with shipping & receiving procedures, including documentation and labeling
- Maintain safe work environment and adhere to all safety rules.
- Keep work area clean and neat.
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must have good communication and organizational skills.
- Good mathematical skills required.
- Must be able to follow instructions and procedures.
- Good command of English language.
- Some product knowledge required.
- Must be a motivated individual and be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
- Experience with RF scanner, WHS knowledge and experience with computerized warehouse management system an asset.
