Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial cleaning and hospitality, with experience in hotel or custodial environments. As a Housekeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness, ensuring that our facilities meet the highest standards of hygiene and comfort for our guests. We would like to find an individual that lives in Saugeen Shores, or close by due to weather related call ins in our off season.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, hallways, and common areas to ensure a welcoming environment.
- Utilize appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment to maintain cleanliness standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of rooms and facilities to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards.
- Replace linens, towels, and toiletries as necessary to enhance guest experience.
- Report any issues or damages to management promptly.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when restocking is needed.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing all cleaning tasks.
Requirements
- Proven experience in industrial cleaning, hospitality, or custodial services is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete tasks within designated timeframes.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good physical stamina and mobility; must be able to lift and move items as needed.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with guests and team members.
