We are seeking a Sous Chef with a solid track record of success in restaurant kitchens to serve as the right-hand person to our Head Chef. The ideal candidate must have extensive experience working with both fresh and frozen ingredients, be capable of delegating tasks effectively and working well under pressure. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising all kitchen staff, monitoring food quality and safety, developing menus and maintaining excellent records.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and present dishes.
- Monitor kitchen operations and ensure food quality standards are met or exceeded.
- Train and supervise other staff in the correct preparation and presentation of food items.
- Adhere to safety regulations and safety equipment requirements, particularly those pertaining to kitchen areas.
- Assist the executive chef with administrative tasks, such as customer purchase orders, food delivery receipts, and inventory control records.

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
