Our client, a leading manufacturing organization specializing in fabrication and metalworking, is seeking a CNC Press Brake operator to join their team. As a CNC Press Brake operator, you will be part of the manufacturing department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, safety consciousness, and strong problem-solving skills, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: CNC Press Brake operator
Location: Milton, ON
Pay Rate: $22 - $25 per hours (based on experience)
Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Monday to Friday
What's the Job?
- Safely operate CNC press brake machines for bending and forming metal parts according to specifications.
- Set up machines based on detailed work instructions and drawings, ensuring all safety features are functional.
- Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on equipment to prevent malfunctions.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and layouts to determine proper machine settings.
- Monitor production runs, troubleshoot issues, and ensure quality standards are met throughout the process.
What's Needed?
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience operating CNC press brake or similar fabrication equipment.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and layouts.
- Good digital skills, including familiarity with MS Office applications.
- Strong safety awareness and commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
