Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Denturist to join our team in a very well established practice of 35 years (with the last 9 years being a completely digital workflow). The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality removable prosthetic services, including complete and partial dentures, implant-supported overdentures, relines, repairs, and patient consultations. The Denturist will work closely with patients, dentists, and laboratory personnel to ensure optimal fit, function, and aesthetics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient consultations and oral assessments.
- Take impressions, jaw relation records, and bite registrations.
- Design, fit, adjust, and deliver complete and partial dentures.
- Perform denture relines, repairs, and modifications.
- Educate patients on denture care and maintenance.
- Collaborate with dentists and laboratory technicians to ensure quality outcomes.
- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation.
- Ensure compliance with all provincial/state regulations, infection control protocols, and professional standards.
- Stay current with advancements in denture technology and materials.
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered care and exceptional customer service.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Denturist program.
- Current licensure/registration as a Denturist in Canada.
- Strong knowledge of removable prosthodontics and implant-retained overdentures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Proficiency with digital workflows and CAD/CAM systems (an asset).
- Commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with digital dentures and Exocad workflows.
- Experience with implant-supported prosthetics.
- Familiarity with intraoral scanning and modern dental technologies.
