Exciting Opportunity: Permanent School Age Early Childhood Educator
Salary: $25.90 to $27.40 ($25.90 +hourly premium of $1.50 for split hours)
Hours: Shift 7:00 am - 9:00 am / 12:00 pm – 6:00 pm (30 minute break)
(Will be scheduled 7.5-8hour full day shifts on Non-School Days)

Your Role:
As an Early Childhood Educator in our School Age Program, you'll be the cornerstone of creating a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for school-age children. Your passion and experience will shine as you:
· Plan and Lead: Develop exciting, age-appropriate activities and programs.
· Mentor and Inspire: Supervise and guide the children in the program, while also mentoring junior staff.
· Create and Nurture: Foster a positive and inclusive environment.
· Monitor and Support: Track and encourage the children’s progress and development.
· Communicate and Collaborate: Maintain open communication with parents, guardians, and staff.
· Ensure Safety: Prioritize the safety and well-being of all children in the program.
What You'll Need:
· Registered as an Early Childhood Educator.
· experience working with school-age children is an asset.
· Clear Police Record check completed in the last 6 months.
· Current Standard First Aid and CPR Certification.
· Exceptional communication skills with children, parents, and colleagues.
· Leadership abilities to inspire children and mentor staff.
· Creativity to develop engaging, age-appropriate activities.
· Strong organizational skills to manage activities and schedules.
