Working hours: 30- 35 hours per week. 5 working days with one mandatory Saturday. Flexible to work some or all evenings.

Position Overview:
As an RDA at Shawnee Dental Clinic, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care. You will assist the Dentist during various procedures, ensure the smooth operation of the clinic, and provide support to both patients and staff. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic and supportive team in a newly opened, state-of-the-art facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during all kinds dental procedures. Surgical assistance experience will be asset.
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments, equipment, and treatment rooms. Take care of all sterilization and maintenance logs.
- Take dental x-rays/Pan/CBCT as needed
- Provide excellent patient care, addressing patient concerns and making them feel comfortable
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care instructions
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Order and manage dental supplies and inventory
- Ensure the clinic complies with all infection control and safety regulations
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow within the office
- Support patients with a friendly demeanor to ensure their comfort during visits
- Handle administrative tasks such as billing, insurance verification, and inventory management, if needed. It will be an asset.
Qualifications:
- Valid Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) certification
- Prefer Minimum 1-2 years of experience in dental assisting.
- Knowledge of dental procedures, sterilization techniques, and dental radiography
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of Dentrix dental software is a plus
- Ability to maintain a calm and professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment
