Overview
We are working on bridge repairs and waterproofing for highways and require labour assistance. The bridges are outside of Chetwynd and Dawson Creek with the majority of work being near Chetwynd. Work would be completed during the day and run through the week. Days off would be in-between tasks or weather delays.
Duties
- Assist with site preparation, material handling, and cleanup to maintain a safe and efficient work environment
- Use hand tools, power tools, and pneumatic tools to perform tasks such as concrete demolition, cleaning, mixing concrete, pouring concrete, placing boards,
Skills
- Skilled in using power tools safely and effectively. Specific tools being mixing drills, grinders, chipping hammers.
- Ability to follow safety protocols diligently while working on active construction sites.
You will need to be physically fit to complete the work as there is repetitive movements, moving 50lb bags of concrete, moving 50lb containers of materials. All standard PPE required (steel toe boots ). Hand, eyes, ear, body protection provided.
Experience in asphalt waterproofing, concrete mixing, and / or use of air hammers valued.

Pay: $28.00-$35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32.0 – 50.0 per week
