As the Facilities Manager, you will oversee the maintenance, appearance, and day-to-day operation of our ranch and hospitality properties. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll lead by example, ensuring facilities, grounds and infrastructure remain safe, functional.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
Facilities & Property Operations
- Oversee the maintenance, repair, cleanliness, and presentation of buildings, barns, and equipment.
- Manage preventative maintenance programs, inspections, and building systems including water, heating, septic, and utilities.
- Ensure the property consistently meets high standards for safety, functionality, and operations.
Grounds, Equipment & Ranch Infrastructure
- Oversee the maintenance of roads, trails, fencing, corrals, barns, water systems, and other property infrastructure.
- Operate and maintain property equipment, including tractors, skid steers, mowers, utility vehicles, and snow removal equipment.
- Coordinate seasonal maintenance activities to keep the property safe, accessible, and well-maintained year-round.
On-Site Property Stewardship
- Reside on the property and act as the primary on-site representative.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities, grounds, and infrastructure.
- Respond to after-hours emergencies involving facilities, utilities, weather events, security, livestock, or guest needs.
- Proactively identify and address maintenance, operational, safety, and guest experience issues.
- Promote a culture of safety, accountability, environmental stewardship, and pride of ownership across the property.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- 5+ years of experience in facilities, property, hospitality, ranch, construction, or estate management.
- Hands-on experience maintaining buildings, grounds, equipment, and infrastructure.
- Strong leadership, contractor management, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience operating property maintenance equipment such as tractors, skid steers, utility vehicles, and snow removal equipment.
- Commitment to safety, property stewardship, and delivering a strong operational experience.
- Valid driver's license required.
Additional Requirements
- Must be willing and able to live on-site full-time.
- Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs (23 kg) on a regular basis & walk long distances and work on uneven, muddy, rocky, or rugged terrain.
- Comfortable working in a rural ranch environment.
- Available to respond to after-hours emergencies when required.
- Able to perform physical work outdoors in all weather conditions.
