Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly and outgoing individual to join our team as a Host/Host. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and creating a positive dining experience.
Duties:
- Greet guests with a warm and welcoming demeanor
- Escort guests to their tables and present menus
- Assist in seating arrangements to ensure efficient use of dining space
- Provide accurate wait times and manage reservations
- Answer phone calls and assist with inquiries or reservations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host station
- Collaborate with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth operations
- Handle guest complaints or concerns with professionalism and escalate when necessary
Experience:
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively
- Knowledge of phone etiquette and guest services
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour
