Job Summary
CSN Pharma is seeking a Manufacturing Associate / Stick Pack Machine Operator to join our production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating stick pack packaging equipment, manufacturing nutraceutical products, performing quality checks, and ensuring compliance with GMP and company procedures. This position requires a strong attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, monitor, and clean stick pack packaging machines.
- Perform machine changeovers, adjustments, and basic troubleshooting.
- Load raw materials and packaging materials into production equipment.
- Manufacture and package nutraceutical products according to batch records and production schedules.
- Conduct in-process quality inspections, including weight checks, seal integrity, coding, and product appearance.
- Complete production documentation, batch records, and equipment logs accurately.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, SOPs, health and safety regulations, and company policies.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of production equipment and work areas.
- Assist with material handling, inventory movements, and packaging operations.
- Report equipment malfunctions, quality issues, or safety concerns to supervisors.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
- Perform other production-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, food, pharmaceutical, or nutraceutical environment is preferred.
- Experience operating stick pack, sachet, VFFS, or similar packaging equipment is an asset.
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to follow written procedures, batch records, and work instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Experience with nutraceutical, pharmaceutical, or food production.
- Experience performing machine setup, changeovers, and preventive maintenance.
