Schedule: 40 hours per week (early mornings required)
Wage: Negotiable, based on experience
Job Description
The Kerrobert Golf Course is seeking a motivated and reliable Seasonal Greenskeeper Assistant for the upcoming golf season. This position involves maintaining the golf course to a high standard and assisting with daily operations, including supervision of staff.
Responsibilities
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Mowing greens, fairways, and rough
Seeding, aerating, and weeding
Tree trimming and general grounds maintenance
Shoveling and manual labor tasks
Maintaining and operating mowing and maintenance equipment
Maintaining and troubleshooting the sprinkler/irrigation system
Supervising staff and providing daily leadership and direction
Making day-to-day operational decisions
Qualifications
Ability to perform physical work in an outdoor environment
Comfortable working in various weather conditions
Valid driver’s license required
Punctual and reliable, with the ability to start work early
Strong decision-making skills
Ability to lead and supervise staff effectively
Previous golf course or groundskeeping experience is an asset
