Who we are
Quantum Lifecycle Partners is one of Canada's leading electronics recyclers and IT asset disposition (ITAD) providers. When organizations are done with their technology, we take it from there - securely destroying the data, recovering every bit of value we can, and keeping what's left out of landfill. It's work that matters, it's growing fast across Canada, the US, and Costa Rica, and we hold every piece of it to R2 and other industry standards.
The role
Lead our Ontario logistics, own the service our customers feel, and grow with a company that's scaling fast.
Logistics is where the promises we make to customers actually get kept. As Logistics Supervisor, you lead the coordinators across our Toronto, Barrie, and Brampton sites and own the service our customers feel every day - the on-time pickup, the accurate count, the clean paperwork, and the sense that someone has it handled from collection all the way to final disposition.
This is a working leadership role. You'll set the standard and coach the team to it, and you'll still get into the work yourself when the day calls for it. You'll be close to customers - solving problems and suggesting better ways to do things - and close to the detail that keeps a regulated business compliant. Bring ideas and you'll have room to run with them, and as we scale, this is a genuine step toward senior logistics leadership.
What you'll own
-
The service and the customer. You own how reliable our service is across Ontario - on-time pickups and deliveries, accurate counts, and clear communication. You're who customers call when something's off, and the one who proposes a smarter way - the right packaging, the right collection schedule, a cleaner process - so they get a true white-glove, end-to-end experience.
-
Your team. You lead, coach, and develop three logistics coordinators across our three sites. You set the standard, make sure each of them knows it and hits it, and you step in beside them when volume or a tough shipment demands it.
-
Standards and compliance. You keep our documentation tight and correct - bills of lading, manifests, weights, and chain-of-custody from pickup to final disposition - including the dangerous-goods (TDG) requirements that come with moving batteries and electronics. Here, clean paperwork isn't busywork; it's how we stay R2-compliant and keep our customers' trust.
-
The network and the systems. You keep things moving - booking carriers, planning inter-site moves and downstream shipments, managing our reverse-logistics containers, securing data-bearing loads in transit, and keeping the data clean and current in Business Central.
In a typical week, you'll
-
Book and schedule pickups, carriers, and inter-site moves - and sort out the curveballs when plans change.
-
Check that shipping paperwork and chain-of-custody records are accurate and complete before loads go out.
-
Make sure batteries, dangerous goods, and data-bearing devices are handled, labelled, and secured the right way.
-
Keep reverse-logistics containers - bins, gaylords, totes, skids - flowing out to customers and back.
-
Sit with a coordinator to work through a tricky shipment or coach them on the standard.
-
Pick up the phone for a customer, solve the problem, and suggest something better for next time.
-
Watch service performance, catch what's slipping, and flag what needs fixing.
What you bring
Must-haves
-
4+ years in logistics or transportation coordination, ideally with some time leading or mentoring - or you're a strong coordinator who's clearly ready to step up.
-
You lead from the front: organized, calm when it's busy, and you hold a high bar for yourself and the people around you.
-
Strong service instincts and clear communication - customers and carriers both trust you.
-
Confident with logistics / ERP systems and genuinely disciplined about documentation and detail.
-
GTA-based and happy to be on-site - mainly Toronto and Brampton, with Barrie about 1-2 days a week. Valid driver's license.
Nice to have
-
Dangerous goods / TDG and shipping-documentation experience; a background in recycling, ITAD, waste, 3PL, or distribution.
-
Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central experience; a logistics / supply chain diploma or degree - or relevant hands-on experience
You'll fit right in if you
-
Lead from the front - you coach and lift standards while still doing the work.
-
Take real pride in tight service and clean paperwork, and you notice the moment something's off.
-
Bring ideas to the table and want to build and grow, not just hold the line.
Why you'll want this
-
Real ownership of a function that matters, on a team that's investing in doing things right.
-
A clear runway - this is a stepping stone into senior logistics leadership as we scale.
-
Work that means something: you help keep technology out of landfill and data out of the wrong hands.
-
Competitive pay and benefits, modern systems, and leaders who back you and your ideas.
