Solar Installer / General Labourer

Job Description
TRC Solar Inc. is looking for hardworking and reliable Solar Installers / General Labourers to join our team. This role involves assisting with the installation of commercial and industrial solar panel systems on rooftops and other project sites.
The work is physical, hands-on, and performed outdoors. Candidates must be comfortable working at heights, lifting heavy materials, and using handheld power tools.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the installation of solar panels, racking, wiring, and related equipment
- Carry and move heavy solar materials and equipment on-site
- Use handheld power tools such as drills, impact drivers, grinders, and other basic tools
- Work safely on rooftops and elevated areas
- Follow instructions from site supervisors and project managers
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all company safety procedures and site-specific safety rules
Requirements
- Must be comfortable working at heights
- Must be physically capable of lifting and carrying heavy materials
- Experience using handheld power tools is preferred
- Construction, roofing, electrical, or solar experience is an asset
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
- Must be willing to work outdoors in different weather conditions
- Working at Heights certification is an asset
- Valid driver’s licence is an asset
Pay
$20–$24 per hour, depending on experience and skill level.
Schedule
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Occasional weekend work may be required depending on project schedule
