Eldorado Gold Saskatchewan | Foran (TSX:ELD) is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our growing McIlvenna Bay team. This is a full-time position based at our Saskatoon office working Monday-Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.

The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for providing financial analysis, business partnering, and decision support to operational and leadership teams within a mining environment. This role supports budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, cost management, and performance analysis while delivering insights that drive operational performance and business value.
The position works closely with operational leaders, technical teams, and finance stakeholders to improve financial visibility, support strategic decision-making, and strengthen financial discipline across the organization.
Job Responsibilities:

Lead the preparation and coordination of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-range financial plans for the operational site

Develop detailed financial models and scenarios to support operational and strategic decision-making

Analyze forecast variances and provide recommendations to improve financial performance and predictability

Support rolling forecasts and continuously improving forecasting accuracy

Provide financial analysis and reporting related to production, operating costs, capital expenditure, and business performance

Analyze key operational drivers including production volumes, unit costs, productivity metrics, and cost trends

Prepare monthly management reports, variance analysis, and performance presentations for leadership teams and corporate team.

Translate financial information into actionable business insights

Partner with operational, technical, maintenance, supply chain, and leadership teams to support business objectives

Provide financial guidance and challenge assumptions to improve decision quality and resource allocation

Support cost control initiatives and identify opportunities for operational efficiencies

Participate in operational meetings to provide financial insights and support

Monitor and analyze operating costs, identifying risks, opportunities, and cost drivers

Support capital project evaluation, business case development, and investment analysis

Track capital expenditures and provide analysis on project performance and spend trends

Assist with economic analysis and financial evaluation of operational initiatives

Ensure compliance with financial policies, internal controls, and accounting standards

Support month-end close activities, accrual processes, and reconciliations as required

Assist with audit requirements and ensure integrity of financial information

Identify and implement process improvements to strengthen financial processes and reporting quality

Support ERP systems, reporting tools, and financial data integrity initiatives

Develop and automate reporting processes to improve efficiency and quality of information

Participate in finance transformation and process improvement initiatives

Promote continuous improvement across financial planning and analysis activities
Job Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Commerce, or related field

Professional accounting designation (CPA or equivalent) preferred

7+ years of progressive finance, accounting, or financial planning experience

Experience within mining, industrial, manufacturing, energy, or capital-intensive industries preferred

Strong experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and performance analysis

Experience working with ERP systems and financial reporting tools

Strong financial modeling and analytical capabilities

Advanced budgeting and forecasting skills

Business partnering and stakeholder management

Strong communication and presentation abilities

Understanding of operational cost drivers and business performance metrics

Compensation and Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary range of $98,000 - $110,000/year based on experience and qualifications. Annual discretionary short term incentive award at a percentage of base salary, rewarding exceptional contributions to team and company success.
