Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Payroll Administrator and Accountant to join our finance and human resources team. Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing using payroll software as well as proficient in using Excel, ensuring timely and accurate salary payments for all employees.
- Perform data entry tasks related to employee hours, benefits, deductions, and tax information with high accuracy.
- Reconcile accounts related to payroll transactions, including accounts payable and receivable entries, ensuring consistency across financial records.
- Identify and resolve payroll discrepancies, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Prepare detailed reports on payroll expenses, tax filings, and account reconciliation for management review.
- Collaborate with human resources to ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies concerning compensation and benefits.
- Assist in bookkeeping activities related to payroll and accounting functions, supporting audits and financial reviews as needed.
- Support the implementation of new accounting or payroll software systems by providing data entry support and process documentation.
Experience
- Proven experience working with payroll steps from Timesheets to payment using payroll software is essential.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles including account reconciliation, bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivable management.
- Familiarity with accounting software like QuickBooks or Sage and relevant tools is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to handle data entry with precision in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent analysis skills for reviewing payroll reports and identifying discrepancies or irregularities.

Pay: $50,962.15-$70,000.00 per year
