SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Manager, Maintenance Engineering, the Maintenance Engineering Technologist provides technical, coordination, and administrative support to engineering and maintenance teams in support of fleet reliability, performance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
The role contributes to the full lifecycle of engineering activities from design, prototyping, testing, and implementation across diesel, CNG, and zero-emission vehicles and associated equipment.
Responsibilities include troubleshooting and diagnostic support, inspection and commissioning activities, engineering design and documentation, and coordination of fleet modifications and projects.
The position also supports data management, analysis, and reporting, while maintaining accurate engineering records and facilitating effective communication between internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
