Rafat General Contractor Inc. is hiring Snow Plow Operators to operate large combination snow plow trucks (has salter) for municipal and highway winter maintenance during winter season. Experience with snow plows is highly preferred. Camp/yards are in Newmarket, Vaughan, Mississauga and Brampton.
Responsibilities:
- Operate combination plow/salter units to clear and salt city roads and highways
- Complete pre- and post-trip inspections and keep accurate route logs
- Respond promptly to call-outs for snow and ice events (day or night)
- Maintain safe operating practices in accordance with MTO and company standards
Requirements:
- Valid DZ or AZ driver’s license with clean abstract
- Experience operating large plow/salter trucks (not pickup plows)
- Reliable, safety-focused, and available for on-call shifts during storms
