Registered Dental Assistant — Viva Dental Wellness
Viva Dental Wellness is looking for a skilled and compassionate Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our team.
We are seeking someone who is professional, reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to providing exceptional patient care in a welcoming environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms and maintain a clean, organized clinical environment
- Take and process dental X-rays and other diagnostic records as required
- Perform sterilization and infection prevention procedures
- Prepare instruments, materials, and equipment for treatments
- Provide patients with post-operative and oral hygiene instructions
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Support patient scheduling and clinic flow when needed
- Follow all applicable infection control, safety, and regulatory standards
- Contribute to a positive and professional team environment
Qualifications
- Registered Dental Assistant certification in Alberta
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Professional, dependable, and patient-focused
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Previous dental assisting experience is an asset
